Setting up Amazon DI overseas and coordinating U.S. order and logistics management
-
Setting up Wayfair DI overseas and coordinating U.S. order and logistics management
Summary of Value:
Amazon:
Our China-based associate coordinates Amazon DI purchase orders with vendors, ensuring seamless order management and logistics to meet all Amazon requirements and expectations. We closely monitor production progress to ensure shipments meet required deadlines and make bookings with Amazon's designated forwarder at the required time to avoid late fees or penalties.
Amazon has strict requirements for participation in its DI programs, each with specific Incoterms such as MDDP, FCA, MFP, and GLD—each with its own processes and conditions. Being part of Amazon's DI program offers significant advantages, including higher margins, no U.S.-based inventory requirements, and the ability to sell products in multiple countries beyond the U.S., making it a highly profitable and efficient program.

Wayfair
Wayfair’s DI program differs slightly from Amazon’s; however, our China-based associates provide the same level of factory and order coordination. We can also train and collaborate with your U.S. associates to streamline the process of entering DI orders into Wayfair’s “Extranet,” which is significantly different from the process for domestic orders.
Participating in Wayfair’s DI program allows your products to be shipped directly from Asia to various Wayfair warehouse locations in the U.S. and beyond through their Asia Consolidation program.
